Oposition Leader our guest speaker

Hon Steven Marshall Oct 2017 3.1The guest speaker at our October 24 meeting was the Leader of the Opposition, Steven Marshall. We were delighted to welcome to our meeting Rotarians from several neighbouring clubs as well as the Liberal candidate for Colton, Matt Cowdrey.

As a child Steven lived in the western suburbs, attending Ethelton Primary School then Immanuel College. In 1997, following the retirement of his father, Steven assumed the role of managing director of the family furniture business.

Steven was delighted to see a familiar face in the audience, that of our former now honorary member, Gerry Ancone, who for many years was a prominent figure in the furniture trade.
