Bright Hours Lunch

Bright-Hours.2014On October 28 our Club conducted the 6th Bright Hours lunch at the West Lakes Community Centre for two hundred and fifty senior citizens. The event has become so popular that demand now outstrips available places.

The Charles Sturt Council was represented by Mayor Kirsten Alexander and Councillors Juliann Andreani and Stuart Ghent, both of whom assisted at the event.

Attendees were entertained by Wobbles the Clown and the ninety strong West Lakes Shore Primary School Choir. Santa also put in an appearance and distributed small gifts to those present.

Our Club would not have been able to hold the event without the wonderful support of so many of ou

r Friends of Rotary, who helped set up the venue, assisted in the kitchen and with serving the meals.
